• Senior Analyst - Payment Screening
• Location: Sydney with office attendance 2 days per week
• 12M day rate contract, $850 - $900 + super

Are you ready to make a difference in the financial industry? We're looking for a Senior Analyst - Payment Screening to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on configuring detection checks, understanding payment screening processes, and ensuring the effectiveness of rules in detecting suspicious activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Configure and implement detection checks within payment screening systems.

Understand the intricacies of payment screening processes, ensuring accurate identification of suspicious payments.

Assess the impact of detection rules on the overall screening process and refine them to enhance performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive improvements and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

What We're Looking For:

• Prior experience as a Senior Technical Business Analyst within banking (must)

Proven experience in payment screening, detection check configuration, and rule implementation (must)

Strong understanding of payment screening rules and their application in identifying suspicious transactions (must)

Analytical mindset with the ability to assess the impact of rules and identify areas for improvement.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders effectively.
