You will monitor daily billing activity, provide regular reports to management, and oversee Services Australia PRODA registrations and compliance documentation for new staff. Your attention to detail will help strengthen systems through internal audits, training on Medicare item numbers, and the promotion of best-practice billing.
Why join AWAHS?
- Generous benefits - Access to salary packaging of up to $15,900 tax-free per year
- Supportive environment - Join a welcoming and inclusive team with access to professional development, supervision, and an Employee Assistance Program
- Work with purpose - The opportunity to play a key role in strengthening our community health needs

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Competent computer skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills with commitment to meeting deadlines.
- An understanding of Aboriginal health and culturally safe service delivery and practice.
- A qualification in Aboriginal Health or Enrolled Nursing is desirable, not essential.
