Overview
The Opportunity…As an Employee Relations Case Manager, you’ll be the trusted partner and coach to our People Leaders, providing timely, pragmatic, and solutions-focused advice on a range of employment and conduct matters. You’ll guide leaders through case management and build their confidence in applying HR policies and processes. You’ll be part of a passionate team, collaborating in the Strathpine office on Mondays with the flexibility to work 2 other days from home (if desired).
Responsibilities
- Lead with Empathy: Partner with People Leaders to manage cases of misconduct, policy breaches, and workplace concerns with care and professionalism.
- Be the Trusted Advisor: Provide clear, practical advice that supports fair, timely, and confident decision-making.
- Empower Our Leaders: Coach and guide leaders on HR tools, systems, and best-practice processes to build capability and confidence.
- Turn Data into Insight: Maintain accurate case records and reporting to identify trends, themes, and opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications
- HR Expertise That Delivers: Proven ER advisory experience, ideally within a complex or retail environment.
- Confident Case Manager: Skilled in handling investigations, managing cases, and guiding fair outcomes.
- Problem Solver & Influencer: Strong analytical, influencing, and stakeholder management skills to navigate challenges effectively.
- Detail-Driven Multitasker: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance multiple priorities seamlessly.
- People-First Mindset: Approachable, proactive, and customer-focused — always seeking solutions that support our people.
- Qualified & Curious: Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations (desired).
- Wellbeing Advocate: Bonus points for Mental Health First Aid certification or experience supporting wellbeing initiatives.
