Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Professional Painter to join our team in Wollert, VIC. As a painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing paints, and applying coatings to various structures and surfaces. Your expertise will contribute to the high-quality finishes and aesthetic appeal of our projects.

Responsibilities

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes and cracks.
- Mix and match paints to achieve desired colors and consistency.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
- Use brushes, rollers, and spray equipment to cover large areas.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain clean workspaces.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve project goals.
- Conduct touch-ups and repairs as necessary.

Qualifications and Skills

- Proven experience as a professional painter.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a professional painter.
- Certificate III in painting and decorating or equivalent qualification.
- Familiarity with various painting techniques and materials.
- Attention to detail and a strong eye for color and design.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in painting.
- Competitive salary of $77,000 per annum.
