Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare work areas with ladders, trestles, scaffolding, and protective drop sheets.
  • Remove old paint, wallpaper, or coatings, repair damaged surfaces, fill cracks, and sand for a smooth finish.
  • Mix and match paints, stains, or varnishes to achieve the right colors and textures.
  • Apply paint, varnish, or protective coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment on various surfaces.
  • Hang wallpaper neatly, matching patterns and trimming edges cleanly.
  • Perform small repair tasks, like fixing or replacing frames and glass.
  • Repair or lay tiles on walls or floors when needed for restoration jobs.
  • Keep tools and equipment in good condition and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
  • Follow all OH&S procedures, using PPE and handling materials safely.
  • Offer advice to clients on paint types, finishes, and aftercare when required.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience as a painter, across both residential and commercial projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety standards and tools.
What We Offer
  • A full-time salary is between $75,000 and $85,000, based on your experience.
