Overview

Join to apply for the Painter and Blaster role at UGL.

Location: Alcoa Portland Aluminium Smelter, Victoria

Duration: approximately 4 - 6 months. We are seeking skilled and experienced Painter / Blasters, ideally with Rope Access tickets (L1-L3).

Responsibilities
  • Play a crucial part in a remediation coating program, building a legacy of excellence.
Qualifications
  • Cert III in Surface Preparation and Coating Applications – desirable
  • Demonstrated experience as an Industrial Blaster
  • Work at Heights Certification – valid within 3 years - mandatory
  • Drivers Licence – preferred
  • Construction Industry Induction (White Card) - preferred
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Great time management skills
  • The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
