Overview

Senior Business Partner – Finance position based in Perth, WA. Full-time, permanent role at Westgold Resources’ Perth Head Office. This role partners with operational and corporate teams across gold mining operations to provide strategic financial insights and robust reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

- Partner with key stakeholders across operational sites and corporate functions to deliver financial insights and support decision-making.

- Lead and execute end-of-month reporting processes, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of financial reports.

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for both site and corporate entities, including general ledger reconciliations.

- Reconcile stock models and ensure alignment with operational data.

- Provide financial oversight and analysis of mine capital expenditure, rehabilitation provisions, and amortisation schedules.

- Maintain a strong understanding of gold mill accounting practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

- Support the budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and operational plans.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related discipline with a major in Accounting or Finance.

- Full professional membership with CA ANZ or CPA Australia.

- Significant experience in the mining industry, preferably within gold operations.
