Associate Director, Performance and Culture

In this role, you will

- Lead the evolution of performance frameworks that drive clarity, accountability, and growth.
- Build capability in goal setting, feedback, and coaching across teams and leaders.
- Translate performance insights into actionable plans at both enterprise and business unit levels.
- Develop and implement a customer-first culture roadmap aligned with strategic priorities.
- Support the Risk and Compliance Academy with curated learning content and tools.
- Champion values-based leadership and design initiatives that foster inclusion and psychological safety.
- Embed the “Optus Ways of Working” across the employee lifecycle, refreshing tools and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and impact across culture programs.

- A strategic mindset with the ability to connect culture and performance initiatives to business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with a track record of building trusted partnerships.
- Expertise in learning and development, including designing and implementing impactful programs.
- Confidence in using data and insights to inform decisions and measure impact.
- Experience managing external vendors and leveraging digital learning solutions.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and lead change in a dynamic, evolving environment.
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach to partnering with senior leaders and P&C teams.
