The Role
In this role, you’ll own your work end-to-end, from design through to deployment, while contributing innovative ideas to shape the future of our software solutions. You’ll play a key role in building scalable, high-performing applications and services within a modern, cloud-native environment, ensuring quality and reliability at every stage. This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly organised and committed individual to work in a challenging fast-paced role.
About you
We are seeking a talented and passionate .NET Developer to join our Global Platform team in our Sydney office. This is an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise, and drive innovation in how we build world-class software solutions.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Building new functionality, services, frameworks on a global scale
- Building resilient, scalable microservices in a cloud native environment
- Participating in small, energetic teams on a rapid, agile development schedule
- Designing and implementing solutions in a reusable and stable fashion, following test driven development practices
- Review your own and other contributors’ code to ensure the highest quality standards
- Building new systems with C#, .NET, .NET Core, Microservices, Web API, ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, AWS, Lambda, RDS, S3, Elasticsearch , Event based architectures
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Over 5 years of experience in C# development using .NET and .NET Core frameworks, including Microservices, Web API, MVC, and SQL Server.
- Excellent communication skills and strong team collaboration abilities, with a passion for learning new technologies.
- Proficient in implementing CI/CD pipelines, Unit Testing, and REST API design.
- Strong technical knowledge of design patterns and modern software architectures.
- Proven ability to identify and analyse requirements to deliver effective solutions.
- Experienced in mentoring and guiding other developers to enhance team capability.
- Capable and motivated to own and drive the delivery of large-scale goals and projects independently.
