Senior Software Engineer (.NET)

This role is based in Domain, a leading property marketplace in Australia, with products and solutions for consumers, agents, government and enterprise.

Role

A Senior .NET Engineer with a strong background in developing web and backend applications. You will join the Listings crew to develop marketing products for the Real Estate Industry and participate in the full software development lifecycle from concept to deployment and maintenance. As a senior member, you may assist in coaching and mentoring other engineers.

Responsibilities

- Develop APIs and front-end experiences for Domain Agent Admin.

- Debug and solve production issues.

- Write clean, readable, and performant C# code.

- Write unit and integration tests to ensure a solid, bug-free code base.

- Participate in sprint planning and refinement.

- Code review other team members’ code daily.

- Attend the DotNet communities or Front-end guild and participate in organisation-wide technology initiatives.

- Assist with on-call and incident management when needed.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

- 3+ years experience with C#.

- Experience designing and developing .NET Framework applications.

- Experience working in an agile environment.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.).

- Node.js experience is desirable.

- GraphQL experience is desirable.

- Experience with Next.js and React.js or similar frameworks (Vue/Angular) is desirable.
