Overview

Total Tools Tingalpa is looking for a Full-Time Business Development Manager, who has a real passion for tools & trades. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to utilise your current sales skills and experience within a growing and diverse business. This is a full-time role in Australia’s ultimate tool shop, offering a competitive salary with a tool of trade vehicle, phone and laptop provided.

This position will suit an experienced sales professional who has previous experience as a sales representative, account manager or similar, with an ability to build strong, loyal relationships in the trade and industrial sectors. A passion for outstanding customer service will help deliver required KPIs while adding real value to our trade customers. You will be an enthusiastic, self-starter with proven results in driving sales growth in a target-driven environment.

Responsibilities

- Building solid working relationships and developing rapport with key stakeholders and accounts
- Liaising with and finding solutions for current and potential clients
- Developing and implementing sales plans and initiatives
- Effectively managing a diverse customer base
- Analysing sales and customer data to identify new opportunities
- Attracting new customers in addition to growing existing business; comfortable with cold calling as required
- Achieving sales, margin and product mix targets

Qualifications

- A sound business acumen with the ability to understand relevant financials
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with sound experience in a similar sales role
- A strong ability to develop and maintain B2B relationships and influence decision-making
- Strong work ethic and a can-do attitude
- Organised with excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and in a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an eye for detail
- Comfortable with technology; computer literacy is a must with a professional phone manner
- A comprehensive understanding and previous experience in the trade and industrial sector is an advantage
