Marketing Manager (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We're looking for a marketing professional who is a strategic storyteller that can turn insights into action and ideas into impact - and we're completely flexible about how you make it happen.

About the Role

As our Marketing Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our marketing efforts - combining creative thinking with analytical rigor to build our brand and engage our audience.

This is a hands‑on role where strategy meets execution, and where your ability to both spot opportunities and bring them to life will be essential.

As an ecommerce agency, we work with retail and ecommerce brands navigating the complexities of digital and unified commerce. Your understanding of the ecommerce landscape will be crucial in crafting content that resonates with our clients and translating industry trends into actionable insights.

Work Your Way

This role can be full‑time or part‑time - whatever works for you. We're genuinely flexible about hours, schedules, and working arrangements. Remote work, flexible days, condensed weeks - we're open to discussing what fits your life. We believe great work happens when people have the freedom to balance their commitments and bring their best energy to the role.

What Makes This Role Special

You’ll have the opportunity to shape our marketing strategy, get hands‑on with execution, and see the direct impact of your work - all while maintaining the flexibility you need for everything else that matters in your life. If you're someone who thrives on variety, loves both the big picture and the details, and wants meaningful work that fits around your world, let’s talk.

What You’ll Do

- Drive thought leadership: Craft compelling content including case studies, articles, and insights that position us as industry leaders, translating ecommerce best practices and retail trends into digestible content that resonates with our audience

- Own our channels: Manage and grow our social media presence, email marketing programs and website ensuring timely, consistent, engaging communication

- Create memorable experiences: Plan and execute events that bring our community together and showcase our expertise

- Build strategic partnerships: Develop and manage co‑marketing initiatives with partners to expand our reach and deliver mutual value

- Think strategically: Analyse market trends, client intel, customer behaviour, and campaign performance to identify new opportunities and inform our marketing direction

- Produce great assets: Design and create marketing materials that capture attention and communicate clearly

- Lead and coordinate: Work with team members across the business to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned and delivered effectively

- Measure what matters: Track, analyse, and report on marketing performance against KPIs, using data to continuously improve our approach

What We’re Looking For

- Proven experience in a marketing role with a strong portfolio of content and campaigns

- Knowledge of ecommerce and retail, with the ability to speak credibly to industry challenges and opportunities

- Exceptional writing skills with the ability to create thought leadership content, case studies and professional communications

- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights

- Hands‑on design and content creation capabilities

- Experience managing social media, email marketing, and events

- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with marketing metrics and reporting

- Collaborative approach with excellent project coordination abilities

- Self‑starter who can work independently while keeping stakeholders aligned

Why work with us?

- Remote‑first: Work from anywhere in Australia or New Zealand, with a Melbourne co‑working space available for in‑person collaboration.

- Flexibility & Autonomy: We trust our team to work in ways that suit them best—outcomes matter most.

- Career Growth: Shape the future of e‑commerce and grow your expertise with a forward‑thinking team.

- Engaging Work: Work on exciting projects for some of the biggest names in retail, solving real‑world challenges.
