Leading Australian Software Development firm requires a Vendor & Contracts Manager for a 6 Month contract based in North Sydney to start work in November.

As the Vendor & Contract Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all third‑party vendor relationships and commercial agreements for a major technology transformation initiative.

Reporting to the Program Director, you’ll be responsible for ensuring vendor performance, governance and value delivery across the program.

Daily you will:

- Managing the full vendor lifecycle, from selection and onboarding through to contract renewal and offboarding.

- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and KPIs.

- Monitoring vendor performance and maintaining dashboards to track delivery, risk, and value.

- Partnering with internal stakeholders (IT, Procurement, Legal, and Business) to ensure alignment with program objectives.

- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, data security, and governance standards.

- Driving clear communication and continuous improvement across vendor partnerships.

To succeed in this role, you will:

- Be a commercially astute contract or procurement professional who thrives in complex, technology‑driven environments.

- Hold a relevant Degree with proven experience in procurement, contract, or vendor management.

- Bring demonstrated success delivering outcomes across large‑scale, multi‑phase technology programs.

- Possess strong expertise in Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), financial analysis, negotiation, and vendor performance optimisation.

- Excel at building trusted relationships and communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

- Take a proactive, detail‑driven approach to governance, compliance, and delivery excellence
