Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) management systems/documents.
- Support development and enhancement of the Business Management System (BMS).
- Ensure alignment with legislation, certification standards and strategic goals.
- Meet regulatory, statutory and client specific requirements.
- Manage updates to the BMS within the Management of Change framework.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure system integration and compliance.
- Promote best practices and compliance.
- Report on compliance findings and recommend practical solutions.
- Coordinate and provide training and education on process, procedures and adherence to compliance.
About you
- Previous experience within the construction, mining/resources or Defence industries
- Qualifications in workplace Health and Safety and/or Risk Management (Highly regarded) or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in HSEQ systems development and compliance
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation, mentoring and stakeholder engagement
- Working knowledge of relevant legislative requirements
- Quality management knowledge (quality assurance and quality control)
- Able to deliver effective training and drive continuous improvement
