About this Role:
We are seeking to appoint a Director of Early Learning to lead and enrich our Early Learning Centre, located at 63 Clowes Street, South Yarra. This full-time position will commence in Term 1, 2026.
About You:
- Hold an approved Early Childhood bachelor’s degree Teaching Qualification and current VIT registration.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in an Early Learning.
- Deep understanding of the VEYLDF and Reggio Emilia–inspired practice.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage compliance, and ensure best-practice education and care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, children, and families.
- Highly organised, proactive, and committed to upholding child safety and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership for the Early Learning Centre, ensuring alignment with the School’s mission, vision, and educational philosophy.
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the ELC, including staffing, compliance, policy management and curriculum delivery.
- Ensure child safety policies and practices are embedded in all aspects of the Centre’s operations.
- Lead, mentor, and support ELC educators to foster collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.
- Partner with families and the school community to build strong relationships that enhance each child’s learning journey.
- Promote the philosophy and values of Melbourne Girls Grammar through community engagement and events.

Learning Enhancement and Support Co-Ordinator

The Learning Enhancement and Support (LE&S) Coordinator plays a key role in providing high-level administrative support to the Director of LE&S and ensuring the smooth and effective operation of the department. This is a dynamic role that requires excellent organisational skills, confidentiality, and a strong commitment to supporting student learning outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing administrative support to the Director of LE&S, including diary management, budget tracking and resourcing.
- Managing incoming phone calls ensuring correspondence are passed on to the Director of LE&S.
- Ensuring student information is collected and stored confidentially and privacy of school information is safeguarded.
- Management of student files, copying and filing of correspondence as required.
- Organisation and distribution of general communications with parents and the school community on eVI news, parent homepages and via email.
- Work with the VCE Office to schedule and oversee the administration of Special Provisions for assessments and examinations in the Senior Years. Including data entry, supervision of exams, scheduling and any other duties as needed.
- Updating student data (Years 5–12) in Synergetic in collaboration with the Database Manager.
- Manage and oversee the Senior Years Academic Coaching Program. Including maintaining the booking systems, tracking student attendance, supervision of the Learning Commons and liaising with other Co-ordinators to ensure rostering efficiencies.
About you:
- Ability to contribute to an inclusive, dynamic and productive environment;
- Strong sense of confidentiality, sensitivity and discretion in handling student and school informationat all times;
- Demonstrated experience with rostering, timetabling, and attendance records.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Proactive, organised, and solution-focused, with strong digital literacy skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Current VIT registration or a current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (or capacity to obtain).
- Relevant qualification in administrative support, education support, or health and wellbeing of children and young people.

Artemis Aquatics provides high-quality coaching and learning experiences in water safety and skill development. We are committed to a safe and enjoyable environment where swimmers can develop their skills and self-confidence for a lifelong connection to swimming. We offer classes and squad programs for a range of ages and abilities.
We are seeking Learn To Swim (LTS) Teachers who wish to join a growing program. Depending on availability and rostering, casual positions will be available with preference for applicants with flexible availability across Monday to Saturday.
Ideal candidates will be passionate about swimming and will inspire all students to become the swimmer they want to be. They’ll be knowledgeable about current swimming trends and best practice, as well as personable and warm. In collaboration with the Head of Swimming and Learn To Swim Co-ordinator, the LTS Teachers will assess participants to ensure allocation into appropriate lessons and levels, establish strong bonds with swimmers and their families, and foster opportunities for students to grow and develop their skills.
- ASCTA Swimming and Water Safety Teacher accreditation, and/or AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.
- Sports Australia Community Coaching General Principles Course (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC) or VIT registration.
- Current First Aid HLTAID011 (003) & CPR HLTAID009 (001) qualifications (or willingness to obtain).
