Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Marketing & Events Manager to join our Marketing team.

StoneX's businesses are growing rapidly across APAC, and this role based in Sydney will provide StoneX's Australia-based businesses with day-to-day contact and support, while supporting Marketing’s brand building and demand generation efforts throughout the region.

You will play a key role in developing and managing marketing programs that both support the StoneX Marketing objectives and regional business goals. The scope of work will include, but not be limited to, media, digital marketing, events, and sales enablement.

Primary duties will include:

- Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships and clear expectations between APAC businesses and Marketing
- Media: Manage Australia PR strategy alongside local agency
- Marketing Program Development: Manage marketing planning and delivery for non-retail business units across Australia, in line with Marketing objectives and specific business requirements
- Project Management & Delivery: Facilitate marketing projects from initiation to delivery and reporting, ensuring efficient execution and quality outcomes
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to project management processes and workflows to increase efficiency and capabilities in-region

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

- 7+ years of experience in B2B Marketing and Events
- Experience in the wholesale Financial sector
- Excellent organizational, stakeholder, communications and project management skills
- Experience using Events, Social Media and CRM platforms
- Basic design skills and familiarity with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
- Copywriting experience or a strong command of writing clear, concise content is beneficial

What makes you stand out:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello, or similar platforms)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with a focus on detail and efficiency
- Comfortable working with teams in different time zones and cultures
- Fluency in English; additional language skills for the APAC region are a plus (Mandarin preferred)

Education / Certification Requirements:

- A bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

Working environment:

- 4 days in office, 1 day remote
