FinXL IT is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading Insurance client on a key transformation engagement. This role is critical for the delivery of complex technical programs and requires deep, hands‑on experience with the Guidewire suite of products.

Responsibilities

- End-to-end management and delivery of complex technical projects, with a primary focus on Guidewire implementations/upgrades.

- Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, and resources across internal and vendor teams.

- Lead the technical project lifecycle, translating business requirements into actionable delivery plans.

- Proactively manage stakeholder expectations, providing transparent reporting and communication to senior management.

- Ensure project delivery adheres to quality standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements specific to the Insurance industry.

- Drive effective collaboration between technical architecture, development, testing, and business teams.

- Oversee vendor engagement and performance related to the Guidewire platform.

Key Skills & Experience

- Proven experience as a Senior Technical Project Manager.

- Mandatory, extensive experience delivering projects involving the Guidewire suite (e.g., PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).

- Strong background in the Insurance sector with familiarity with policy, claims, or billing processes.

- Expertise in managing technical delivery, including system integration and platform migration.

- Proficient in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-million dollar budgets and large, geographically dispersed teams.
