Job Description

As a Business Development Manager within the Transport Business line of Egis ANZ, your impact will be in identifying and converting opportunities with both existing and new clients in the Transport space across Australia and New Zealand.

You will work closely with our Transport Leader to develop, deliver and enable key business strategies throughout the Egis Transport Line. Success will be measured by your ability to engage and influence Senior Management stakeholders through periods of growth and transition and partner with them to deliver positive results.

What You’ll Do

- Identify areas of key growth for the Transport Business line to target.
- Leverage your well-developed network within the Transport Industry as introductions to our service offering.
- Provide strategic advice to clients relating to the Transport sector.
- Identify major prospects and our probability of winning a project.
- Analyse the allocation of resources to enable you to create new business opportunities.
- Develop, manage and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners with the vision to create new work winning opportunities.
- Proactively identify opportunities to engage and work collaboratively with colleagues from other disciplines and Business Unit’s across Egis Group
- Generate new work and profitable business performance, through the maintenance and building upon new and existing client relationships

Qualifications

Ideally, you will have prior relevant experience in a similar role within a consultancy environment, in addition you will also have:

- Over 10 years experience working in the Transport sector in Australian or New Zealand (Sydney experience is desirable but not essential).
- Experience in a role where business development was a key measure of success.
- Previous experience working within a consultancy environment highly desirable
- Strong, proven commercial and business acumen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Well-developed critical thinking and problem solving abilities
- An encouraging attitude towards helping to develop members of the team as well as drive to grow your own career
