Job Description
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the financial services sector.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customised financial solutions to clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, ensuring they align with client needs and organisational goals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategy and decision-making.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs as set by the organisation.
- Provide regular sales reports and updates to management.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to promote the company's offerings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- A strong background in sales and business development, within the insurance and brokerage space.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A deep understanding of financial products and services.
- The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- A valid driver's licence for travel within the Sydney region.
