Project Manager - Retirement Living / Education / Residential Apartments

This opportunity will appeal to a Project Manager looking to join an established Development and Project Management Consultancy that has built strong client relationships over 20 years with private Developers, Asset Owners, Operators, and Government. This organization consists of highly respected property and construction professionals who promote a positive and collaborative work environment.

The Company

This consultancy frequently sponsors industry events and can demonstrate low staff turnover as they invest in their employees and reward high performance. They work across the project and development management lifecycles within the residential, education, hospitality, aged care, and retirement living areas. Our client is a diverse Project Management Consultancy who has been very successful in winning a number of tenders within the Education sector. As a consequence, they are looking for a Project Manager with education or aged care/retirement living experience to join their evolving Sydney team.

The Role

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the full range of project management services throughout the project lifecycle. This role would suit somebody with previous experience in delivering education projects and looking to work with a stable business that can offer career progression and a strong team culture. It is important that you develop and manage the relationship with the education provider. Candidates will need to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and capability in design management, engaging consultants, tendering, contract administration, and reporting on time, cost, and quality.

With relevant tertiary qualifications in construction or similar, you will also need to possess:

- Strong technical skills and experience in managing large and/or complex projects.
- Understanding of project costing/utilisation in relation to fee recovery and be responsible for the financial performance of their projects.
- Demonstrate a successful track record in establishing and managing client relationships.
- Solid project management experience with at least 3 years in a responsible leadership role.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and career ambition.
