About Maison Bâtard: Maison Bâtard is a celebration of modern French culture which has been imagined uniquely for Melbourne in a nod to the city’s golden era of hospitality.

Careful and meticulous restoration has transformed the landmark heritage site at 23 Bourke Street into a four-level haven of immersive, French-accented dining and celebratory experiences; including a showpiece restaurant spanning the lower two floors, a late-night supper club in the basement and an elegant rooftop terrace.

About Lucas Restaurants: Home to Australia’s most beloved and acclaimed restaurants, including Chin Chin Melbourne and Sydney, GoGo Bar, Kisumé, Hawker Hall, Baby Pizza, Yakimono, Society, Grill Americano, Tombo Den, Carlotta & Maison Batârd. About the opportunity: We are looking for the industry’s finest Hosts to join our team. Be the face of Melbourne’s most anticipated restaurant. You will have experience in liaising with high-profile clientele, immaculate presentation and attention to detail.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

- Experience as a Host in a premium venue
- Experience with Seven Rooms, Guest Centre, OpenTable, Table Check, ResPAK or similar
- Immaculate presentation and exceptional communication
- Demonstrated experience in exceeding guest expectations
- Adaptable and able to multi-task effectively
- Strong work ethic and a "can do" attitude
- Outgoing personality and genuine interest in the day-to-day operations
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Availability to work a rotating roster including opening and closing shifts, weekends and public holidays
- A valid RSA certificate
