About Q‑GEN Cell Therapeutics:

Q‑Gen Cell Therapeutics is providing GMP facilities for the manufacture of investigational cell therapy products for internal and external clients. The facility supports the transition from research to validated manufacturing through clean room operations, quality management, and contract manufacturing services.

Role Purpose / Responsibilities:

Applications are invited for a Production Officer to contribute to the effective, efficient and safe manufacture of GMP‑grade cell therapy products at Q‑Gen Cell Therapeutics.

- Perform aseptic production of cell therapies and in‑process environmental monitoring

- Clean and maintain GMP cleanroom facilities used for aseptic manufacture

- Prepare stock kits, media, and sterile consumables for production processes

- Maintain accurate GMP documentation and quality records in line with Q‑Gen policies

- Participate in investigations, change controls, and continuous improvement activities

- Support validation of production equipment and technology transfer activities

- Work within a rotating roster, including weekend and evening work as required

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in GMP production and/or cell culture in a cell therapy, pathology, pharmaceutical, or related regulated environment

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to precise documentation practices

- Initiative, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a small, fast‑paced team

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Understanding of the Australian Code of Good Manufacturing Practice for human cellular therapy products and related quality systems

- Qualification in Laboratory Technology, Life Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Pharmacy, or equivalent experience

Remuneration:

Salary range is $76,296 to $90,917 p.a. plus super and generous salary packaging. This is a full‑time, fixed‑term appointment for two (2) years.
