Baker Beekeeping Pty Ltd is a successful honey business located in Glen Innes on the NSW Northern Tablelands.

We are looking for an experienced Apiarist to join our commercial apiary. This is a full-time permanent position.

The duties will involve:

* Hive management including monitoring and maintain the health of the bees

* Queen rearing and replacement

* Harvesting and extracting honey

* Preparation of hives for pollination and coordinating with farmers for pollination services

* General hive maintenance

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have the following attributes:

* A minimum 2-3 years' prior experience working as a skilled Apiarist with a good knowledge of commercial beekeeping practices

* Relevant tertiary or vocational qualifications would be desirable

* Be able to work in a team.

* Be physically fit and able to life heavy weights

* A truck licence would be an advantage

Salary: $77,000
