Job Description
About the role
We’re seeking a strategic and creative Brand Social Media Specialist to lead the organic social media presence across our brand portfolio. This role is responsible for shaping and executing compelling, insight-driven strategies that grow brand awareness, deepen community engagement, and contribute to business growth.
You’ll translate brand strategy into powerful social-first storytelling across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook—balancing creativity with analytics. Working closely with the brand and digital marketing teams, you’ll ensure every post, story, and comment reflects the brand’s voice and purpose.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is tapped into emerging trends, and knows how to create content that connects authentically and performs commercially.
The main responsibilities will include strategy & planning, content creation and execution, community management, analytics and optimisation.
- Develop and execute organic social strategies, plan content and campaigns, monitor trends and performance, align with brand priorities, and manage budgets efficiently
- Create engaging mobile-first content, craft compelling captions and visuals, balance UGC with studio assets, collaborate on localised campaigns, and manage content approvals for brand and regulatory compliance
- Manage social communities, monitor engagement, build advocate relationships, and ensure safe, brand-aligned interactions
- Collaborate across teams to align content with strategy, optimise campaigns, and support brand protection efforts
Full time onsite role based in Warriewood on Sydney's northern beaches.
Desired Skills and Experience
About you
Ideally you will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in social media management within a brand or agency, with deepknowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn—plus emerging platforms and be degree qualified in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or similar.
- Demonstrated skill in mobile content creation and editing Canva)
- Strong copywriting and storytelling skills tailored to different platforms and audiences
- Comfortable juggling multiple brand accounts, calendars, and priorities
- Analytical mindset: confident with performance data and tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, GA4, Sprout Social)
- Collaborative spirit and ability to liaise across creative, digital, PR, and brand teams
- Strong project management, organisation, and attention to detail
- Bonus: influencer coordination experience and experience with social commerce
