The Role
The Volunteer Victim Assistant Worker reports to the Business Services Team Leader/Volunteer Development Co-Ordinator and works collaboratively with staff and volunteers located at both the Alice Springs and Darwin offices to assist people to recover, restore and grow through the provision of a range of practical and emotional support services, and prevention activities.
To assist victims of crime in the Northern Territory to recover, restore, and grow by providing support, advocating for their rights, and promoting awareness of their needs within the community and government.
