About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and friendly Medical Receptionist to join our welcoming team at Noosa Hospital on a part-time basis (40 hours per fortnight).

Responsibilities

- Managing reception and administrative duties with efficiency and accuracy.

- Handling patient enquiries via phone and email with empathy and professionalism.

- Coordinating bookings, billing, and medical records.

- Supporting clinicians and nursing staff to deliver seamless patient care.

About You

You are a positive, self-motivated individual who brings warmth and professionalism to every interaction. You will take pride in being reliable, detail-oriented, and compassionate, with a genuine passion for patient care.

You’ll bring:

- Experience in a medical reception or administrative role.

- Strong attention to detail and multitasking skills.

- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

- Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred).

- Experience with Genie or BlueChip software and Medicare/HICAPS billing (desirable).

Requirements

- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
