What you’ll do

You’ll provide high-quality counselling and therapy to couples, families and individuals to address the issues impacting their relationships. This can include general conflict, communication, domestic violence, mental health, addiction issues, child protection. You will use a Family Systems Framework in your counselling and provide information and referrals to improve client wellbeing.

What you’ll bring

- Experience working with couples and families using a robust Family Systems clinical framework is required

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology or equivalent

- Post‑grad qualifications or training in Counselling or Couple and Family Therapy

- Strong understanding of family dynamics, child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and addiction

- A calm, professional and compassionate approach when engaging with clients

- Registered or eligible to be registered with PACFA or ACA

The details

- Permanent role

- 3 days per week based in Penrith

- Approx $48 - $54 per hour (depending on skills & experience) + 12% super, 17.5% leave loading and tax‑free salary packaging up to $15,900. (Increase your take home pay Calculate Your Savings athttps://www.salary.com.au/calculate-your-savings)
