The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our Environmental team in Springvale, Melbourne. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind our laboratory quality systems, ensuring we maintain ISO17025 compliance and NATA accreditation. You'll work closely with laboratory teams and management to identify opportunities for improvement, resolve quality issues, and keep our processes running at the highest standard.

The Day to Day

- Keep our quality management systems operating smoothly and in full compliance with ISO17025
- Maintain NATA accreditation by leading audits, monitoring systems, and ensuring corrective actions are completed
- Partner with laboratory teams to troubleshoot quality issues and implement solutions
- Monitor performance using statistical quality control and proficiency testing programs
- Update and refine quality procedures, making sure all team members are trained and supported
- Coordinate responses to third-party audits and liaise with NATA as needed
- Oversee calibration schedules to keep equipment compliant and accurate

The Essentials

We're looking for someone who's detail-focused, methodical, and confident in guiding others in quality best practices. You'll also bring:

- Diploma/Degree in a relevant discipline or extensive experience in a similar role
- Proven background in quality management or auditing, ideally in a laboratory setting
- In-depth knowledge of ISO17025 and NATA requirements
- Strong communication and training skills to engage teams on quality matters
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Advanced MS Office skills with a knack for clear, accurate reporting
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
