Electrical Fitter / Electricians

The Company

Based in Laverton North, our client is a leading manufacturer of custom-designed electrical control power distribution equipment that supplies the defence, medical and mining sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fantastic organisation in a modern, clean, state-of-the-art facility that is committed to providing a safe and supportive working environment and continued ongoing learning and development within the company.

Responsibilities

- Control panel construction

- Assembling of products according to design

- Assembling and testing of switchgear and panel boards

- Ability to understand electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings

Qualifications

- Electrical trade qualification

- Strong understanding of wiring diagrams and engineering drawings

- Assembling and testing of electrical products

- Minimum 3 years/' experience in a similar role

- Ability to work unsupervised

- Demonstrate a positive, proactive and motivated attitude to work

- Physically fit with the ability to work effectively in a multi-skilled environment

Hours & rates

Day shift hours: 7.00am - 3.56pm, 9-day fortnight

Rate: $43.77 per hour + overtime + super + discretionary annual bonus
