We are seeking a Business Data Analyst to join our team. This role will directly support our commercial, supply chain, and sales operations by transforming business data into actionable insights that drive growth, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

- Analyse sales data across retail and wholesale channels to identify purchasing trends, seasonal demand patterns, and opportunities for product growth in Australia and New Zealand.

- Track and forecast inventory levels of luxury fragrance products, providing insights to optimise stock allocation, reduce wastage, and support on-time deliveries.

- Prepare regular financial and operational reports for management, measuring brand and product performance against targets.

- Design and maintain dashboards to provide real-time visibility into sales performance, logistics efficiency, and customer demand trends.

- Evaluate marketing and promotional campaign data to assess return on investment and recommend adjustments for maximum impact.

- Support pricing strategy decisions by analysing competitor benchmarks, sales margins, and market performance data.

- Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to improve order tracking, delivery accuracy, and inventory planning.

- Provide actionable insights to directors and brand partners to support decision-making in product launches, event planning, and strategic distribution.

- Maintain accuracy and integrity of customer, product, and sales databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and confidentiality requirements.

Successful applicants would have:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher in business, data analytics, information systems, statistics, or a related discipline.

- At least 1 year of proven experience as a business/data analyst (preferably in retail, distribution, or FMCG sectors) OR 3 years in lieu of formal qualifications.

Desired skills:

- Strong ability to interpret retail and wholesale sales data, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in SQL/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

- Solid understanding of supply chain, inventory, and sales performance reporting.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex insights into clear business recommendations.

- Strong problem-solving mindset, with attention to detail and a proactive approach.

- Professional presentation and ability to operate with discretion, upholding the prestige of Agence de Parfum.
