Thredbo Mountain Bike Mechanic

As the Mountain Bike Department workshop mechanic, you will be expected to provide exceptional customer service by always greeting customers in a positive and friendly manner. You will be required to familiarise yourself with Thredbo’s wide variety of mountain biking & summer activities products so you can provide the customer with accurate recommendations.

About the Role

- Assist with the daily operations of the Thredbo MTB Mechanical workshop

- Service and maintain our rental fleet

- Handle customer repair jobs

- Assist the workshop manager with maintaining workshop stock levels

- Assist with retail sales, rental fit-out and event operations

- Demonstrate a strong knowledge in the servicing & maintenance of the latest suspension, drivetrain & brake products from SRAM, Rockshox, Fox & Shimano

- Bring a strong knowledge in wheel building, of the mountain bike industry, and the latest products & current trends

- Provide information on Thredbo, Kosciuszko National Park and the surrounding areas
