Job Description

Overview

This is a high-impact, growth-focused role for an experienced recruiter with the drive and autonomy to establish and grow our presence in the Australian Healthcare market. As the lead consultant in a new region, you’ll have full ownership of developing business relationships, building a sustainable recruitment desk, and driving revenue growth.

Over time, as the market develops, there will be the opportunity to hire, lead, and manage a growing team, progressing into a leadership position within the division.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development & Business Growth

- Independently build and lead the Australian Healthcare recruitment desk from the ground up.

- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to increase market share and revenue.

- Identify new business opportunities and establish strong, long-term relationships with key clients including Trusts and the HSE.

- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to refine recruitment strategies.

360° Recruitment Delivery

- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, offer management, and onboarding.

- Deliver exceptional service to both clients and candidates, ensuring long-term partnerships.

- Leverage digital platforms and social media to attract candidates and promote the brand.

- Conduct on-site visits and meetings to strengthen client relationships and gain a deep understanding of their needs.

Leadership & Growth

- Operate with autonomy and take full accountability for results and outcomes.

- Mentor and share best practices with junior colleagues as the team grows.

- Play a key role in shaping the long-term recruitment strategy for the Australian market.

- Champion Remedium’s values and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience Required

- Proven track record of success in healthcare recruitment (Australian market experience strongly required).

- Strong business development and client relationship management skills.

- Demonstrable ability to work independently and build new markets or desks from scratch.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, including with senior and C-level stakeholders.

- Resilient, proactive, and adaptable with a solutions-oriented mindset.

- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Commercially minded, target-driven, and motivated by growth and success.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
