The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic individual to join our team as the Jobs and Skills Digital Resources Coordinator. In this role, you will work with the Manager Jobs and Skills Resource Unit (JSRU), the Department’s communications and marketing team, the digital training services team and the managers of the Jobs and Skills Centres (JSC) to coordinate and evaluate an innovative integrated digital communications plan designed to raise the awareness of Jobs and Skills Centres and support effective departmental funded and driven programs through JSC service delivery.
The Jobs and Skills Digital Resources Coordinator contributes to the development and content management of the Jobs and Skills Centres web pages and the Jobs and Skills Centres’ presence in social media channels and within external websites. During the next 12 months, this role will coordinate some major digital projects and initiatives that are integral to support to the JSCs and Department deliverables. These include: the development and ongoing maintenance of an intranet SharePoint site; coordination of the content review, design refresh and creation of resources to support JSC services (including digital, print and website content).
What we are looking for
This is an exciting, dynamic and varied role and is an integral senior member of the JSRU team. To be successful in this role, you will have experience across a wide range of digital services and platform technologies, along with strong project management and interpersonal skills. You will have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. You will also have high-level written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write for different audiences, styles, and formats so they are aligned to the written style guide and corporate tone. You will also provide technical advice about online publishing conventions and digital communications systems. Experience with SharePoint, Drupal, and educational learning design is highly regarded. Experience of the Vocational Education and Training (VET) and Higher Education sector is advantageous.
