About the role

As a Corporate Lawyer with Endeavour Foundation, you will provide timely, high-quality legal advice and governance services across the organisation. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will support a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, ensuring operations are compliant with legislation and conducted within best practice standards. This role is key in supporting legal compliance, managing organisational risk, and contributing to effective governance.

What you’ll be doing

In this role, you will work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to ensure sound legal practices, mitigate risks and maintain compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

- Advising on, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts
- Providing practical, solutions-focused legal and governance advice to business leaders and stakeholders
- Identifying legal and governance risks and recommending appropriate mitigations
- Managing relationships with external legal service providers to ensure efficient delivery of advice
- Developing, reviewing and implementing policies, procedures and other legal documentation
- Delivering training programs and communications on relevant legal issues
- Monitoring and responding to new and emerging legislation and regulatory developments
- Supporting governance and reporting requirements including statutory registers and regulatory lodgements
- Providing expertise in privacy, confidentiality and data management matters

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a qualified and experienced legal professional with strong technical expertise. You bring strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trust, communicate with clarity, influence stakeholders, navigate complex relationships with diplomacy, and remain composed under pressure while delivering practical, solution-focused legal advice.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Admiss ion as a solicitor in an Australian State or Territory with a current Practicing Certificate
- A minimum of four years post-admission experience in corporate and commercial law
- Demonstrated capability in drafting and negotiating complex legal documents
- Strong judgement, discretion and analytical ability
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to establish trusted relationships
- Highly developed written skills and experience preparing legal and regulatory documents
