Let’s make a meaningful difference, together**Your part in our UnitingCare team**The Resource and Community Support Officer provides expert advice and support to callers Elder Abuse prevention Unit with a focus on safety and wellbeing while advocating for the independence, dignity and choice of older people.Additionally, in this role you will:* Work with stakeholders and community groups to raise awareness of issues affecting older people in relation to elder abuse and prevention.* Support the Service Leader and Local Service Manager with the development and establishment of program procedures and practice in the Elder Abuse and Prevention Unit utilising specialist content knowledge. * **Flexible work arrangements** to support work-life balance* **NFP Salary Packaging:** Save tax and increase your take home pay by salary packaging your everyday living expenses and bills (up to $15,900) and meal entertainment (up to $2,650) per annum.
