ROLE IN A NUTSHELL
Reporting to the Head of Retail, we are on a mission to find an exceptional Area Manager to join our Review team, supporting our NSW-based stores (approximately 20 stores).
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the overall performance of your region’s stores in line with business strategy to maximise profitable sales. You’ll:
- Develop and implement tactical plans, providing leadership to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Drive excellence in people management, visual merchandise execution and inventory control.
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, recommending strategies to improve performance across sales, staff, stock and systems.
- Coach, mentor and drive exceptional customer service standards across your stores.
- Manage performance by achieving KPI targets and ensuring staff are trained and motivated to succeed.
- Nurture and grow your direct reports, building a strong talent pipeline within the retail network.
- Prepare monthly rosters aligned with store budgets.
- Handle escalated store or customer complaints with professionalism.
- Confidently manage all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment.
ABOUT YOU
You’re commercially minded, people-focused and passionate about retail. You bring:
- Previous Area Management experience in the retail sector.
- A proven track record of driving sales, delivering results and engaging teams, with strong KPI knowledge.
- Strong people management and performance management experience.
- Analytical, data-driven decision-making skills.
- A mindset for innovation, adaptability and continuous improvement.
- A self-driven attitude with a hunger for growth.
- A passion for delivering customer experiences and engaging in both internal and external events.
- Strong communication and inclusivity, listening to your team and peers.
- The ability to move with urgency and think on your feet.
