We are expanding our operations and seeking skilled, experienced operators to join our team.
The Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Mobile Plant Operator to join our workforce. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a range of mobile plant and equipment across agricultural and bulk commodity sites. This position involves travel to rural and regional WA locations and requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate mobile plant and machinery including loaders, forklifts, skid steers, telehandlers, and other heavy equipment including their relevant attachments.
- Assist in the construction, installation, and dismantling of grain bunkers and grain covers.
- Cover and handle grain covers over various commodities such as grain, hay, straw, sand, and minerals.
- Carry out daily pre-start inspections, basic maintenance, and ensure machinery is kept in safe working condition.
- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements and site procedures.
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
- Willingness to work and live in regional WA for extended periods of time at a variety of locations.
Skills & Qualifications Required
- Certificate III in Civil Construction, Agriculture, or another relevant field, or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Mobile Plant Operator or in a similar role.
- Current tickets/licences to operate plant equipment (e.g., Loader, Forklift, Skid Steer, Telehandler).
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in varied conditions across rural/regional sites.
- Strong understanding of safe work practices.
- Physically fit, reliable, and motivated with a positive team attitude.
