Dental Nurse / Receptionist – Full-Time | Geelong & Torquay

Join a supportive and professional dental team with a strong focus on patient care and clinical excellence.
Our client is seeking an experienced Dental Nurse / Receptionist to work across their modern practices in Geelong and Torquay. This is a full-time opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in both clinical and front-office settings.

About the Role

You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations – providing chairside support to clinicians, maintaining high standards of infection control, and delivering exceptional service at reception.

Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

- Provide chairside assistance during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials
- Sterilise instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Take and process x-rays (if qualified)
- Record and update accurate clinical notes
- Monitor and maintain stock and supplies
- Support patient care and comfort throughout visits

Reception Duties

- Greet patients and manage enquiries in a professional manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Process payments, Medicare, and HICAPS claims
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality
- Coordinate daily schedules with clinicians
- Keep reception area tidy and welcoming

About You

- Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (essential)
- Minimum 1 year of chairside and general dental experience
- Previous experience in dental reception or administration
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience using Dental 4 Windows (desirable)
- Professional, reliable, and patient-focused
