About Us: Norlane Dental Surgery is a well-established, family-owned multi-surgery practice with a rich history of over 30 years in serving the oral health needs of our community. Our dedication to excellence and growth has propelled us forward, and as we continue to expand, we're seeking an additional experienced full-time Dental Receptionist to become an integral part of our dedicated team.

About the Role: As a crucial member of our team, your role will involve ensuring the seamless operation of our dental clinic. Your responsibilities will include, but won't be limited to, maintaining efficient procedures, offering top-notch service to both patients and dentists, and contributing to the overall success of our practice. Your tasks will encompass:

  • Managing all aspects of Dental Reception
  • Maintaining comprehensive patient records, including appointments and billing
  • Efficient handling of HICAPS transactions
  • You will be trained by our STAR front office Co-Ordinator
  • Due to exponential growth we are adding a third receptionist to our team
  • We are part of Jesse Green's Management Program - you will be attending courses to help you provide excellent customer service to our valued patients

About You: We're looking for an individual who embodies professionalism and possesses the following qualities:

  • Experience: While prior experience as a Dental Receptionist is preferred, we value front office/customer service experience from any field.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential to ensure a positive patient experience.
  • Organization: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities will help maintain the clinic's efficiency.
  • Appearance: A professional appearance and demeanour contribute to our welcoming environment.
  • Qualifications: A Cert III Dental Assisting is preferred but not mandatory, as well as any management qualification.
  • Phone Skills: Ability to manage busy phone lines while multitasking effectively.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills to uphold our reputation for patient care.
  • Presentation: Maintain a professional personal presentation at all times.
