Your role

We are seeking a proactive, analytical and commercially minded Senior Analyst to join our Strategic Projects team within the firm's broader Pricing and Practice Economics function.
In this role, you will play an integral part in working with individual practice groups / streams and corporate services / innovation and digital solutions teams to deliver strategic projects. This role offers a pathway to deepen your experience in strategic consulting within the legal industry and to contribute to firm-wide transformation initiatives. Your key responsibilities will include:
Project support
- Provide coordination and support for various projects undertaken by the team, including collecting, organising and maintaining data relevant to ongoing projects.
- Work collaboratively and proactively with project leads and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Market research and analysis
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and other relevant insights.
- Analyse data and summarise findings to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with specialists to understand and interpret financial data, operational metrics and workforce data.
Document creation
- Prepare and contribute to the development of presentations, reports and other documentation required by the Strategy team.
- Ensure documents are accurate, well-organised and professionally presented in line with the Allens branding and style guide.
Stakeholder engagement
- Build rapport and communicate effectively across all levels of staff.
- Coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders.
- Prepare agendas, capture key outcomes, and ensure follow-up on action items.

About you
You will have:
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in an analytical or business field - ideally with 3+ years' experience in a strategic, commercial or consulting environment;
- A developing capability in consulting and strategic problem-solving, and a desire to learn more about the evolution of professional services and the business of law;
- Approachability and a collaborative spirit;
- Strong attention to detail, with an ability to independently manage competing priorities;
- Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills and ability to think 'outside of the box' to find solutions;
- The ability to convey information, data, and knowledge in a clear, concise, confident, and credible manner.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; training in basic data visualisation is highly desirable;
- Ability to navigate a complex stakeholder environment and build relationships; and
- Ability to work both autonomously and as team player, with confidence navigating ambiguity.
