Tamworth, Australia ClearCompany Full time

Overview

What you’ll be doing As a Pre-sales Solution Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping client solutions. Atturra has one of the largest Integration teams in Australia having completed over 1300 projects to date. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales and Delivery teams to understand customer challenges and design technical solutions that align to business goals — leveraging a broad integration ecosystem including iPaaS, API management, data services, and analytics platforms. Reporting to the Field CTO, you’ll bring technical credibility, commercial awareness, and a consultative mindset to help position Atturra as a trusted partner to mid market, enterprise and government clients.

- Partner with Account Executives and Solution Leads to engage with clients, understand their current landscape, and uncover pain points through discovery workshops and technical scoping.
- Define and present solution architectures across integration, data, and platform technologies — showcasing how Atturra’s services address both business and technical challenges.
- Deliver product demos, technical deep-dives, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) that reinforce value and differentiation.
- Lead the preparation of technical responses to RFIs and RFPs, ensuring responses are aligned to client requirements and Atturra’s delivery capability.
- Act as a conduit between Sales and Delivery, coordinating with Solution Architects, Practice Leads, and SMEs to build tailored, deliverable proposals.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and vendor ecosystems relevant to integration, automation, and data services.
- Support and help refine pre-sales processes, frameworks, and solution collateral to drive repeatable success.

Working Conditions

- Employment Type - Permanent full time
- Work Arrangement – Onsite
- Office Location – Sydney/Melbourne

What will make you successful in this role?

- 6–10 years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Solution Engineering, or Technical Consulting role with a strong focus on enterprise integration or data platforms.
- Proven experience designing and positioning end-to-end integration or data management solutions across industries.
- Strong understanding of integration principles (API, iPaaS, event-driven architectures, etc.) and adjacent technologies (ETL/ELT, MDM, API management, AI/ML, data analytics).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages for technical and business audiences, including executives.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing technical pursuits across multiple stakeholders.
- Passion for solving business problems with technology and a consultative, client-first mindset.

Desirable

- Experience working with cloud-native and hybrid integration platforms such as Boomi, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or Workato.
