Fusion Modulair is an industry-leading HVAC business, known for installing our unique, patented air conditioning systems for some of the world's most prominent brands, including Ikea, Amazon, and DHL. As we continue to expand both in Australia and internationally, we are looking for a passionate and skilled Business Development/Design Engineer to join our dynamic team and help us grow our market share in New South Wales.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager with a strong background in HVAC design engineering and client-facing engagement to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with builders, consultants, tenants, and developers in the NSW HVAC industry. You will leverage your industry knowledge and strong communication skills to help drive success and growth for our company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and develop innovative HVAC systems that are customized to meet client needs, collaborating closely with our design teams.
2. Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements, offering tailored technical solutions to meet their specific challenges.
3. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand Fusion Modulair's market presence and drive growth.
4. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, from design through to successful delivery.
5. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business.
6. Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
7. Apply a working knowledge of relevant NCC sections, industry standards, and regulations pertaining to HVAC systems and the built environment, ensuring full compliance with all legislative requirements.
8. Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to promote innovation and maintain Fusion Modulair’s competitive edge in the HVAC market.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development and client engagement, including a mix of HVAC design engineering and customer service/proposal submissions.
2. In-depth knowledge of the NSW HVAC industry, with established connections with builders, consultants, tenants, and developers. Your understanding of “who is who” will be vital in driving business growth.
3. A dynamic engineer with a strong mindset, a passion for innovation, and an eagerness to learn.
4. Proven ability to combine engineering expertise to successfully manage projects from HVAC design and construction, from proposal to completion.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with clients at all levels.
6. Strong problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.
7. A self-starter who thrives working autonomously but also excels in collaborative team environments.
