Happy to discuss what that would look like for you specifically during our interview process. - Equity: Included in addition to salary The role We're looking for a high‑impact Founding Account Executive to help us scale Marloo's presence across Australia and beyond. This is a foundational sales hire — ideal for someone who loves cracking into advice firms, thrives in ambiguity, and can help us refine and evolve our go‑to‑market motion. You'll own the full sales cycle, from outreach and discovery through to closing. You'll work closely with our founders, customer success and product teams to shape our messaging, value proposition and ideal customer profile as we scale. What you'll do: - Prospect and engage decision‑makers: Target senior leaders at advice firms (Practice Owners, Operations Managers, Compliance Heads) and run a high‑quality discovery and sales process with a strong consultative lens - Lead conversion and demos: Take our warm leads through qualification, tailor and deliver compelling demos that connect Marloo's value to customer‑specific needs, and close deals with support from our founding team - Deal management: Own the entire sales cycle from discovery to contract signature, including handling security/compliance objections, structuring pricing proposals, and developing account strategies to build multi‑threaded relationships - Revenue generation: Close new ARR and exceed quarterly revenue targets through both warm leads and targeted prospecting across financial advisers in Australia - Sales process development: Work with founders to build repeatable playbooks, messaging and outreach strategies, and collaborate closely with product and customer success to ensure a tight feedback loop - General pitching in: We're building a team of highly empowered doers. Everyone pitches in on the random tasks that pop up along the way You're a fit if: - You have a natural ability to connect with people and understand their challenges (1‑3 years of sales experience is preferred but not required - we value drive and curiosity over credentials) - You're genuinely excited about helping financial advisers succeed and building meaningful relationships - You can have conversations that connect product features to real business value - You thrive when facing challenges and see them as opportunities to learn and grow - You're excited to build something from the ground up and love experimenting with new approaches - You bring energy and adaptability to a fast‑moving environment where priorities can shift quickly - You want direct exposure to all aspects of building and scaling a company - You're comfortable with ambiguity and see it as a chance to shape processes and make your mark - Willing to prioritise in‑person collaboration.
