About the Senior Business Analyst role

We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Homes and Places team to play a critical role in driving data-informed decisions and continuous improvement across the asset management function within a social housing organisation.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

Demonstrated financial analysis and reporting experience with involvement in developing reporting tools such as dashboards.

Developed financial models and supported business cases, funding submissions, and scenario analysis to inform strategic planning.

Lead or support cross-functional reviews and initiatives to improve workflows. Assisted in managing small-to-medium projects, tracking milestones and coordinating stakeholders.

This is a fixed term contract role, based at our either our Redfern or Liverpool office but can also be undertaken working remotely.

The recruitment process may include interviews and other forms of skills and behavioural assessments. The appointment of a suitable candidate will be subject to pre-employment screening which may include reference checks, a National Police Check, Health Assessment, etc.

Please note we may establish a Talent Pool from this process.

About you (essential requirements)

To succeed in the role, you will have the below key attributes:

5+ years in business analysis, finance, or operations, ideally within housing, property, or asset management sectors.

Demonstrated expertise in leveraging advanced Excel for financial modelling, complemented by practical experience in creating data visualisations and conducting month-end reporting using Power BI and dashboard tools.

Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives and providing effective project support.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and familiarity with compliance or audit frameworks
