Job Description
- Lead and manage a variety of complex fire engineering projects, ensuring high-quality, technically sound fire safety outcomes tailored to client needs.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and coordinated design solutions.
- Prepare, review, and sign off detailed technical reports and documentation as a Professional Engineer.
- Engage and build strong relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure timelines, budgets, and financial targets are met.
- Contribute to developing project proposals and scope definitions.
- Drive continuous improvement of quality systems and best practices within the team.
- Mentor and support the professional development of junior engineers and staff.
- Represent the team at high-level external meetings and contribute to internal initiatives and events.
The Successful Applicant
- Qualified and Chartered Fire Engineer with relevant tertiary education.
- Extensive experience delivering complex fire risk assessments and technical solutions.
- Proficient in CFD/FDS modelling and familiar with regulatory compliance.
- Strong project management skills, able to lead multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communicator, capable of engaging clients and stakeholders effectively.
- Proven mentor who supports and develops junior engineers.
- Committed to continuous learning and driving innovation.
- High attention to detail with a focus on quality and integrity.
