The Opportunity
The Manager Regulated Portfolio is a critical leadership role where you will drive the development of key strategies, growth, and capabilities of the Regulated Portfolio team, delivering outcomes across the organisation. This role is also accountable for leading the successful delivery of the regulated infrastructure portfolio to ensure that the capital works program is delivered efficiently.
In this role, you will manage a high‑performing team of Project Managers and Administrative team members. You will work closely with Project Sponsors and key business sponsors to proactively manage budgets, ensuring that activities and investments align with the organisation’s financial objectives.
Success in this role is defined by demonstrating impactful and influential leadership. This involves fostering strong engagement and a positive culture within the function, effectively collaborating across the business and with external contractors and stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of functional activities to support the achievement of ElectraNet’s business goals and objectives.
About You
Here’s what we’re looking for in our new leader:
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant technical or management field and/ or a minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience is essential.
- Proven and demonstrated experience in adding value to the business by providing strategic and operational guidance portfolio and project management.
- Strong knowledge and experience in managing and delivering commercially focused project solutions within a highly complex regulated environment.
- Sound commercial focus and understanding of key business drivers in considering risk and opportunity in commercial decision making.
- Knowledge of HV, substation and transmission performance and operation, National Electricity Rules, Transmission Codes and relevant standards will be an added advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated leadership to inspire, motivate, mentor and develop employees to be engaged, accountable and achieve best‑practice in their respective disciplines.
