CPL UK Healthcare (formally RIG Locums) are currently looking for a General Adult Consultant, NHS based in Perth, Scotland area.

The role offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in General Adult Psychiatry to work full-time and it would be excellent for someone wanting to broaden their experience of inpatient psychiatry and develop their clinical skills in a supportive and challenging environment. The team is well established with good support from senior clinical and managerial colleagues.

They are looking to recruit to General Adult Psychiatry posts. These posts represent excellent opportunities to strike the perfect work / home life balance for enthusiastic and committed consultant general adult psychiatrists. The posts are fully flexible, and it is widely expected that these will be hugely attractive to a wide range of candidates, from those stepping into their first consultant post, to consultants wishing to expand their professional interests across a range of fields including quality improvement, leadership and medical education.

This is a full-time post in acute inpatient psychiatry providing senior consultant input to a 22 bedded acute ward. An additional 0.5 wte consultant will be available. There are several junior training grade medical staff attached to the ward.

Within the ward there is access to a full multidisciplinary team including a well-staffed nursing team, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, pharmacy and access to psychology input as required.

Although the posts as described are full time posts they would also welcome applications from candidates interested in working on a part-time basis.
