Your responsibilities will include:

- Leading and managing the Organisational Learning Team to plan, deliver and evaluate programs that align with Council’s People Strategy and organisational goals.
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders, providing expert advice and developing practical solutions to meet organisational learning needs.
- Overseeing Council’s corporate learning programs — including eLearning, induction, accredited training and development initiatives — while fostering a positive and high-performing team environment.
- Managing the operational and financial aspects of organisational learning, including budgets, program outcomes and compliance, while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

Skills and experience:

- Proven experience in effectively leading and managing a team to optimise productivity, build motivation and maintain high morale.
- Demonstrated success in developing, coordinating and delivering organisational learning programs, including managing operational budgets.
- Highly developed interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, time management and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and oversee a work area effectively.
- Excellent written communication skills, with experience preparing high-quality correspondence and reports.
