Woodside Energy is seeking a Procurement Adviser for a 12-month contract with potential to extend.

As a key member of the Procure to Pay team, this role serves as a central point of contact for delivering high-quality services and guidance across the business.

The position plays a critical role in supporting Operational Maintenance, contracts, warehouse & logistics, and other business stakeholders by ensuring accurate and timely procurement of goods and services with high data integrity, in compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will be a subject matter expert in procurement processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring alignment with company policies, risk management protocols, and SOX compliance.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Manage RFQ process, including market engagement, vendor identification, negotiation, and commercial evaluation.
- Procure competitively priced materials, services, and equipment that meet technical specifications in an ethical, cost-effective, and timely manner.
- Maintain key relationships with internal customers, functional teams, and stakeholders.
- Manage supplier relationships with a focus on problem resolution and performance improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy for GLs, account assignments, material data, tax codes, and outline agreements.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods and services to meet business needs.
- Monitor purchase orders, identify scope discrepancies, and resolve pricing mismatches.
- Administer and close out purchase orders, including handling changes, disputes, and extensions.
- Identify and escalate PO issues to support timely receipt and payment.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures, risk management, and SOX controls.

Skills & Experience:

- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience.
- Proficiency in SAP and Ariba platforms.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry or similar sectors is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- High attention to detail and data validation accuracy.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance is beneficial.
