GYMNASIUM COORDINATOR (Permanent)

Are you a confident, proactive, and people-focused Fitness Professional? Would you like to lead and develop our busy Gymnasium? If you’re a natural leader who has a passion for health and wellbeing, this is your opportunity to step up and shape the future of our Fitness Club and team.

The Position

As Gymnasium Coordinator, you’ll be a key part of our leadership team, working alongside the Centre Manager to:

- Lead by example – motivate and support staff in the Fitness Club.
- Drive high standards – ensure smooth, safe, and efficient daily operations.
- Coach and develop your team – provide day-to-day guidance, support training, and help others succeed.
- Champion customer service – create a friendly, welcoming environment for all users.
- Support compliance – uphold health & safety, safeguarding, and operational policies.
- Contribute to the centre’s growth – assist with membership drives, community outreach, and service improvements.

The Applicant

Who you are.

- Proven leadership experience in a leisure, fitness environment.
- Strong communication and people management skills.
- Ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and remain calm under pressure.
- Hold a Certificate IV in Fitness, current First Aid certificate and CPR qualifications.
- A genuine interest in promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing.
- Skills in developing your team to perform at their best.

Hours, Salary and Conditions

Hours of work: 38 hours per week.

Salary and conditions: Commencement annual salary range from $75,771.28 to $83,350.28 (Grade 11).

Special conditions: This position is designated as a child-related position. It is an offence under NSW Legislation for a person convicted of a serious sex offence to apply for this position. Only those with current rights to work in Australia may apply.
